Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice Pinball is a 2025 boutique pinball machine based on the 1988 Tim Burton classic film, packed with unique interactive toys, deep code features, and custom mechanical layout.
Physical Toys and Layout Features
Multi-Axis Animated Sandworm: A sculpted, moving Sandworm toy (inspired by Saturn's desert sequence) moves up, down, left, and right, allowing players to time shots directly into its mouth during specific worm modes like Gut Punch.
Subway Target Bank: The Sandworm's upright position reveals two hidden standup targets in a lower subway area.
The Afterlife Skill Shot: A unique plunging sequence where a diverter lifts to intentionally drain the ball down the right outlane, only for a magnet to catch it and feed it back to the playfield.
Dual-Ramp & Couch Multiball: A layered ramp system where shooting a lift ramp feeds a physical habit trail, eventually loading balls onto a physical couch toy on the playfield.
Dante's Inferno Room Left Orbit/Ramp: Features an integrated physical mystery roulette wheel that spins while the ball is still in play.
Beetlejuice Interactive Grab: A mechanism where Beetlejuice physically grabs the ball, rising from behind a tombstone to launch it back toward the flippers.
Software and Thematic Modes
Spooky Speak: A voice-activated interactive system allowing players to say "Beetlejuice" three times to trigger custom responses and initiate events.
Iconic Movie Modes: Includes dedicated theme modes like Grave Dig, 'Til Death, Head Shrink, Hungry Hungry Sandworms, and the Deo Dinner Mode where flippers temporarily feel "possessed".
Lydia's Polaroid Camera: Hitting targeted spinner shots lights up camera inserts, causing Lydia to take a "photo" that flashes the entire playfield white.
Audio & Visual Assets: Features original custom music and integration by Brady Hearn, Danny Elfman's iconic score, Harry Belafonte's "Day-O", and direct video/audio clips from the film.
